Experience a slice of art studio life with a day of discovering new ways to start or develop your art practice. We will experiment with the little-known gouache resist technique to create a body of work and at least one finished painting inspired by looking at our local surroundings in a totally fresh way. Bec Judge has developed this unusual process of adding and washing off layers of gouache paint and Indian inks to create texture and colour rich pieces of art. Throughout the day, you will get the chance to master this process on both wood and paper, letting your creativity develop with expert guidance from a practising artist and teacher of twenty years. Expect curious methods, surprising results, unusual approaches and inky fingers. All materials are included, as is a lovely lunch, plus tea, coffee and treats throughout the day to help keep the creativity flowing! Book NowBACK
