Restored Sideboard from Shanxi Province circa 1920's with a unique blue & orange paint that has worn over time and created a beautiful patina effect. Usually made from locally sourced wood which would be elm, popla or pine the sideboard has two large cupboard doors with paneled detail. These cabinets were often used in China to store dry food or clothing or even used by the family as an altar for worship. These pieces are sourced and restored direct from China, each a piece of history and a unique piece of design.
